Scoot Scoot

So Jeff and I have purchased a scooter for convenience around Kunming. It is definitely a wild ride. Cars, bikes, scooters, buses, pedestrians, all make for a challenging ride to and from work. One thing we've both learned...buses DON'T stop, no matter what, they don't slow down, or stop. Being a former bus driver, I understand the demand for being on time so I'm a bit empathetic, especially driving in China. But the cabs...they drive in the bike lane often, even when there are signs with arrows pointing to different lanes. And then there's the people who scooter in headphones...we honk to no avail, and when we finally make our way around them, we know why, the headphones. On a positive note, Jeff's peripheral vision has improved greatly as he does a wonderful job maneuvering us around town in Kunming. Here are some pics and videos of us scoot scooting :)
